Set list

I play and sing a mixture of the old pub piano classics, pop tunes from the 40s through to 80s, as well as boogie, blues and ragtime. Sing a long is always available, though never obligatory, and I can generally mix and match the different styles of my playing to suit the needs of most events.

To give you a taste of what’s possible, here are some examples of tunes I play;

Pub Piano Classics
My old man’s a dustman, Dont’ dilly dally on the way, Show me the way to go home, Roll out the barrel, Knees up mother brown, Bicycle built for two (Daisy Daisy), It’s a long way to Tipperary, Pack up your troubles, You are my sunshine, Down at the Old Bull and Bush.

Pop
Songs and medley’s from the likes of the Beatles, Elvis, Abba, Madness, Chas ‘n Dave, Sinatra and many more. Examples include Lady Madonna, Mama Mia, Streets of London, Teenage Kicks, Wonderful World, My Way, King of the Road, Space Odity to name but a few.

Party favourites
Delilah, (Is this the way to) Amarillo, 500 Miles, Those were the days, I will survive, Hi-Ho Silver Lining.

Plenty of silly stuff
Always look on the bright side of life, The Hoky Cokey, She’ll be coming round the mountain. Windmill in Old Amsterdam.

Boogie & Blues
When the saints, Worried man blues, Folsom Prison, Bill Bailey, Frankie & Johnny, Long time blues, JD’s boogie.

Ragtime
Maple Leaf rag, The entertainer, Pineapple rag, Wild Honey Suckle rag.

This list is by no means exhaustive, so if you have any questions about a particlular song you would like drop me line through the contact form and I will see what I can do.

For sing a long, song sheets can be provided in the form of my ‘Pub Piano Hymn Book’, an eclectic mix of around 50 songs brought together in an handy A5 booklet. Click here for a copy of the index. If you have a sing a long request outside of this let me know and I’ll do my best to accommodate it.

For weddings I am happy to play for couples as they walk up and down the aisle and can learn up to two new songs for this purpose provided enough time is given and I feel I can do them justice. My piano is quick and easy to set up and move around so feel free to use me in more than one place, whatever the event.

In general, I offer a flat rate for up to three hours playing, which can be spread over a four hour window. However, I do try to be as flexible as possible, so whatever your needs get in touch and I will be happy to discuss charges and how I can best suit your event.
